Why choose to become a Support Worker?

Working in a support role comes with challenges, but it's an incredible rewarding role to do. If you're someone who enjoys building friendships in others, and helping someone to access activities and opportunities that they wouldn't be able to do with your help, a role in Support could be a really good fit.

Why work for Farrow Friends?

We really pride ourselves on having a robust and friendly team of staff members that work well with each other and support themselves as a team as well as those we help in the home and their community.

We offer flexible working, independently led work and we also pay above minimum wage and a high percentage rate for mileage.

Who are we looking for?

We want people who are reliable, accountable and personable. Although we value those with some level of experience in a health and social care setting, as long as you meet the right skillset and can meet the right behaviours for the role, we'd love to look at your application and consider you for an open role.

How do I apply?

Because we're a quick expanding support company we have lots of support opportunities available in the Isle of Wight, and the East Midlands (Lincoln, Grantham, Sleaford, Skegness, Boston and surrounding areas). Therefore we always encourage you to send us an email at info@farrowfriends.co.uk with the subtitle: Available Roles. Please include the area you are looking for available roles in, and we'll send a more detailed overview of the role, and the vacancies that are currently available.

It's really encouraged to send a cover letter and CV, as this helps to give us a really good overview of you, and your skills, which helps us in deciding if the role would be right for you. If successful, we'll invite you for an interview for an informal discussion and to hear more about you, and answer any questions you might have about the role.
